Time for a getaway? We take your vacation seriously!

Scenic natural beauty on Hathaway Lake in the South Cariboo, British Columbia. We have repeatedly been told that we have one of the most beautiful (and quiet) campgrounds people have ever visited.
You’ll want to come back again and again!

We are open from *April 28 – *Nov 15 yearly ( *we open as soon as the snow is off the RV sites and close when the lake freezes )

We are an inclusive campground. We are ‘everyone’ friendly including but not exclusive to the LGBTQ2 community. We have built a campground community around shared values of diversity, equity, optimism, and personal security. We welcome everyone and expect our guests to be respectful of each other.

We are a NO DOG campground and have been for over 20 years! We love dogs but our guests keep telling us that they do not like camping beside them. We do allow well-behaved service dogs. We have foxes that play and deer that take refuge on our grounds which takes precedence over your wish to bring your furry family member here. If you believe your service dog will chase or bark at our visiting wildlife, then this is not going to be a good fit for them.

**Our water is drawn from the lake. We filter it to 1 micron but do NOT add Chlorine. We have a 1-minute boil advisory on all water on site that comes from a tap of any sort, to ensure it is safe for drinking.

SORRY, no dogs* (indoor RV cats are permitted), so we can continue to share the resort property with the abundant wildlife and birds in the area.

*Certified Guide or Assistance dogs are permitted. Please include a copy of the proper paperwork with your reservation request. A vest bought at Walmart doesn’t qualify. We will also look at individual requests to allow dogs in your own RV, that don’t bark. Ie, a teacup pom that only squeaks now and then. Or an old hound that sleeps all day and doesn’t care if a deer or fox walks by. Anyone asking for this exception to our rule will have to accept that if the dog barks or whines and irritates other guests, you will be asked to leave and be expected to pay for the entirety of your stay. This also applies to certified assistance dogs. If they are ill-mannered or behave badly, you will have to leave. Our existing guests have made it very clear to us, they do not wish to camp with other people’s dogs.
